Sherihan is an Egyptian actress, singer, and dancer who became one of the Arab world’s most recognizable entertainers. She began performing at a young age with the encouragement of her half-brother, actor and guitarist Omar Khorshid.
She is best known for her elaborate Ramadan musical variety shows, particularly the *Fawazeer Ramadan* series, which combined acting, singing, dance, extravagant costumes, and audience riddles. Sherihan stepped away from performing in the early 2000s while undergoing treatment for a rare form of cancer. After a lengthy absence, she returned to the screen and stage in the musical drama *Coco Chanel*, released in 2021.
