Biography

José Antonio Hipólito Espino Mora, Better Known as Clavillazo He was a Mexican comedian and actor, born on August 13, 1910, in Puebla, Mexico. Second of all Children, his parents installed a butcher shop in Teziutlán, which in a few years became a success, where the young José worked since he was 10 years old. Barely 20 years old, he experienced his first tragedy, when his sister Bertha, his confidant and almost his second mother, died from an epidemic of black pox. In his adolescence, he ran away from his native city to live in Mexico City, but his father forced him to return and, looking for something that he was passionate about, he began working as an ocassal actor in the variety theater, today Victoria , from town. From Fernando Soler, Whom, All His Life, He Recognized As His Great Grand Master. He had the good idea of saving to pay for his own tent, but when he managed to have enough money, he spent it on a night out and the next day he had to go back to look for work, finding a vacancy as a night watchman. Eventually he returned to the Tent Theater and Vaudeville, where he used Nicknames like Chumiate and Polidor and became one of the most popular and Beloved comedians. To highlight his comedy, if he drew nails in his eyes, that's where the name Clavillazo came from. Pickpocket (1979), Among Others. Actor, comedian, producer and Real Estate Entrepreneur, Clavillazo Died on November 24, 1993, in Mexico City, at 83 Years
