*Karada Sagashi: The Last Night* expands the supernatural survival story with solid technical execution and a more focused nighttime setting, making it an accessible continuation of the original film. However, underdeveloped characters, predictable storytelling, and the missed opportunity to deepen the curse's mystery prevent the sequel from matching the emotional and narrative impact of its predecessor. Overall, it is an enjoyable watch for fans of *Re/Member*, though it falls short of fully realizing its potential.
