Directors Angelique Molina and Abraham 'AB' Troen's documentary **JUST SING** takes viewers along a coming-of-age journey for the University of Southern California's acclaimed 'SoCal VoCals' competitive A Capella group as they compete for an unprecedented sixth win at the Championship of Collegiate A Cappella in New York City.

Told with infectious charm and soulful energy, **JUST SING** provides a backstage glimpse into what brings together such a diverse group of talented singers from across the country to work together as one.

Molina and Troen's film effectively capture the anxiety of competition, and the ecstasy of success as the senior class at USC, comprised of music and theatre majors, absorb the enormous commitment of time outside their collegiate studies to rehearse and prepare for the national competition.

From their first hurdle at the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAC) -- \[\*spoiler alert\* -- they advance\] -- to the final showdown in New York City -- the hard work, choreography and original accompaniment in countless rehearsals takes the cultural resonance of television's **GLEE** and the **PITCH PERFECT** film franchise and grounds it with intimate realism.

The personal stories from members of the group from Dylan Beck's experiences growing up as a gay teen in a bucolic Midwest town, to Sam Avila coming to terms with a suicidal father struggling with PTSD - the film celebrates the tenacity and camaraderie of VoCal, as they carry the esteemed USC a cappella legacy on their shoulders.

**JUST SING** is a celebration of where dreams can take you and an inspiring example of the boundless optimism of its incredibly talented singers who each have forged life-changing friendships. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a tear in your eye, **JUST SING** is an engaging documentary that celebrates raw talent and determination.
