I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House

If your average film is a storybook put to screen, then _I Am The Pretty Thing_ is a poem put to screen. I can appreciate that they were trying something different here, but I was never much for poetry.

_Final rating:★★ - Definitely not for me, but I sort of get the appeal._

Honestly wasn’t expecting much with this movie because Netflix scary movies aren’t that scary.

This is probably one of the creepiest movies I’ve ever seen. It’s not an original ghost story by any means but it takes the classic haunted house that wants to consume the tenants and makes it creepy af.

The use of negative space, music, and voiceover with metaphors makes everything different. Negative space had me looking for things that weren’t there, music had my heart pounding and the voiceovers brought it together.
