My Best Summer, adapted from Ba Yue Chang Ahn’s popular web novel With You, offers a heartfelt portrayal of teenage romance that feels relatable and emotionally genuine. With strong visual storytelling, seamless time shifts between youth and adulthood, and standout performances—especially from Arthur Chen who earned acclaim as Best New Actor—the film captures the bittersweet essence of growing up. Despite a few implausible scenes, its charm, chemistry, and nostalgic atmosphere make it a rewarding watch for fans of light, emotionally driven romances.
