**A neon-drenched erotic nightmare**

Tom Blaine (in a knockout performance by Jerry Butler) is a high-powered New York advertising executive on the brink of an emotional and mental breakdown. His life spirals into chaos due to ongoing clashes with his current wife, Gloria, and the lingering memory of his ex-wife, Lois, who has moved on with Jason—Tom's best friend and chief professional rival.

Trapped in a vicious cycle of jealousy, paranoia, and ambition, Tom begins to lose his grip on sanity. His mind turns into a psychological labyrinth where intense erotic fantasies, passionate encounters, and surreal daydreams blend seamlessly with reality. As his relationships crumble and his delusions mount, he slides dangerously toward an abyss of carnal obsession and alienation.

Cecil Howard proves in "Snake Eyes" why he was one of the most daring and innovative directors of his generation ("Fantasex", "Neon Nights", "Scoundrels", "Foxtrot"...), delivering what is perhaps his finest feature film: a sophisticated study of emotional disintegration. Here, Howard uses eroticism as the primary storytelling tool to dissect the psyche of a man tormented by his own insecurities.
